Preschool Services
North County Community Services operates seven Preschools in North San Diego County. These centers prepare 3-5 year old children from over 720 families for entry into the formal education system. Thanks to the generous support from our corporate partners and other individual supporters, NCCS was recently able to implement a new preschool curriculum that provides teachers with tools that strengthen the skills and abilities of our students, helping them succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
Research conducted by the Pew Center for the States shows that children who enter kindergarten ready for success grow to be the book-smart, team-capable, job- ready workers who help businesses prosper, and the good neighbors who help communities thrive.
Access to quality early childhood education provided by NCCS is crucial to bridging the affordability gap for families who would not otherwise have the resources to enroll their children in a preschool program.
