Volunteer and Get Involved
Volunteers are a vital part of operations at Growing Minds Early Education Programs.. We truly value the contributions volunteers make to their community through NCCS each and every day. Every month, community members volunteer a total of over 1000 hours across our sites!
Your hard work really does make a positive impact on the community. Groups and individual volunteers participate in all of our program areas.
What Volunteers Do
Volunteers help out with every aspect of operations at Growing Minds. All of our volunteer opportunities are listed on Volunteer Match. Click here to find positions currently available.
Here are some examples of what volunteers
do at Growing Minds
At our preschools, groups of volunteers clean, repaint, and replant gardens.
In our main office, volunteers help with data entry, filing, and other office tasks.
Many volunteer tasks include extensive bending and lifting; if physical ability is a concern, please let us know so we can assign you with an appropriate volunteer task.

Corporate Volunteering
We welcome corporate groups to partner with us on community service projects. Corporate groups are cherished partners at our child development sites and in our Edible Gardens Program. Because our warehouse is small, it is difficult for us to accommodate volunteer groups of more than 10 individuals. However, our parent organization, Growing Minds Early Education Programs, may have volunteer opportunities for larger groups; contact our volunteer coordinator to find out more!
How Do I Get Started?
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Growing Minds Early Education Programs! We have plenty of opportunities for individuals and groups to volunteer with us. To view volunteer opportunities check us out on Volunteer Match.
Our volunteer coordinator will contact you within 72 hours of receiving notification of your interest in volunteering with us.
